Hampi Expressway Private Limited
TRIL Roads Private Limited has won the bid for development and operation of 120 Km section of Hospet to Chitradurga of National Highway No-13 in the state of Karnataka. The project involves construction of exiting two lane road to four lane highway along with project amenities. Apart from Main highway construction project involves construction of 60 Km of Service road, 2 Toll Plazas, 2 major bridges, 2 Railway Over/ Under Bridges, 30 nos minor bridges and 22 nos Vehicular and Pedestrian underpasses for greater safety of local traffic. For road users’ convenience 2 nos Rest Areas, 6 nos Truck lay byes and State of Art Highway Traffic Management System is part of the project. The NHAI project cost is Rs 1388 crore and the concession period is 25 years. The Concession Agreement for development and Operation of project has been signed between National Highway Authority of India ( NHAI) and SPV Hampi Expressway on 10th June 2015. The scheduled Completion time of the project is June 2018.
Pune-Solapur Expressways Pvt. Ltd. (PSEPL), a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV), formed by the consortium of TRIL Roads Pvt. Ltd. and Autostrade Indian Infrastructure Development Private Limited, has developed and operating the project. The Project work involves development and improvement of old 2 lane highway to 4-lane highway from Km 40 to Km 150 of NH-65 ( earlier NH-9) in the state of Maharashtra. The Project road length of 110 Km is part of the National Highway connecting Pune to Solapur and further to Hyderabad and Machilipatanam in Andra Pradesh. The project has been developed on Design, Build, Finance, Operate and Transfer (DBFOT) basis.
The development of this highway has reduced the travel time between Pune to Solapur by more than 90 minutes besides providing a safer drive. The project has separate service road for the slow moving and local traffic for enhanced safety. Various facilities like Truck lay byes, Bus shelters, Toilets, Traffic Aid post and Medical Aid post are provided for the road users. The Project has state of art Highway Traffic management System with Emergency Call Boxes, Highway Patrol and Ambulance available round the clock. Important locations are regularly monitored at central control room at Patas Toll Plaza. PSEPL commenced tolling of 85 Km length of the total length 110 Km from 4th February 2013. Tolling for the full project length of 110 Km started from 31 Jan 2015. The project operation team is actively involved in Oeprtion and Maintenance of the project road to enhance the experience of road users.
